I spoke at the 35th Bi-Annual EDL 318 Student Conference on Curriculum and Teacher leadership. My groups research focused on creating and preparing students to be lifelong learners.
Conference Abstract:
Eliminating mindless schoolwork and pull-out sessions for students who learn differently, our school provides culturally relevant learning in academically inclusive classes. Celebrating students interests and families, our inquiry-based learning focuses on individual curiosity and needs. We seek to create lifelong learners who will bring about positive change to their communities and the world.
