ZOEY DWIGGINS

Hi! My name is Zoey Dwiggins and I am a senior early childhood education major with a focus in family studies at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. I am originally from Upper Arlington, Ohio which is a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. I decided to be a teacher because of my love for children. In high school, I volunteered at a YMCA camp outside of Cincinnati.  At the end of the summer, I realized how rewarding it was working with young children and how difficult it was to leave them. Through this, I discovered my love for young children and how contagious their love for life really is! As an anticipated May 2018 graduate of Miami University, I have student teaching experience on the first, second, and third grade level, in urban, rural, and suburban school districts in the greater Cincinnati area. I plan on adding to my teaching license with completing the Reading Endorsement anticipated to begin online through Ohio University starting May 2018.
